The dog's health subsequent to the initial 72 hour period is guaranteed as explained on the Health Guarantee form. Medical proof of any claim must be provided to Seller's veterinarian. The purchase price above will be applied towards another puppy/dog of similar quality (not necessarily same parents) as soon as one becomes available. Seller is not responsible for vet's diagnosis or treatment costs, shipping, travel expenses or any other costs incurred by buyer in the return of above dog and/or delivery of replacement puppy.

This dog is sold as a companion dog. Best efforts have been made by Seller and Buyer to choose the puppy/dog most appropriate for Buyer's needs, but there are no guarantees that the chosen dog will perform to expectations as show/breeding/work prospect as there are so many variables involved. AKC registration will be provided by Seller with dog. The Barenberg name will be included in the registration as our "signature". Puppy's first name may be chosen by Buyer according to the German tradition in which littermates names start with the same letter, as provided by Seller.

Companion puppies will be sold with AKC limited registration (not suitable for breeding); show/sports prospects will be sold with full AKC registration.

We care about the future of our puppies. If buyer cannot keep this puppy/dog at any point, Seller reserves the right to be notified ahead of time and given option to be acquired by Seller or provide temporary home until Seller can find another suitable home. At which time all but $300 (three hundred) of new selling price will be refunded as soon as dog is sold at fair market value, which depending on age, temperament, training, etc. may be more or less than amount paid by Buyer originally. If Buyer chooses to sell or give away dog (relatives, friends, etc), Seller reserves the right to be notified ahead of time and given new owner's contact information. If it is found that above dog has been surrendered or sold to a pet store, wholesale outlet, dog pound/shelter or rescue organization Seller reserves the right to take immediate repossession of dog. Dog in both cases is to be shipped back to seller at buyer's expense.

If the dog is found to be abused or neglected the Seller reserves the right to take immediate repossession. Dog is to be shipped back to seller at buyer's expense.

This puppy is suited as a companion and obedience prospect. Obedience training  and proper socialization is recommended to ensure a good relationship between dog, owner, and others. Barenberg Shepherds and it's owners assume no responsibility for the future behavior of puppies sold once they leave the kennel.

Our main goal is to produce happy, healthy dogs that make excellent companions and protectors and are loved and cherished by their owners. One of the highlights of breeding German Shepherds is to hear how well the dogs are doing in their new homes. You are respectfully requested to keep in touch. Letters and photos are appreciated and will be added to our website. We hope you will enjoy many years with your new Barenberg dog. 

Both the Buyer and Seller have read the above contract and understand and agree to all the conditions stated herein. No amendments have been made to this contract. Attachment: "Health Guarantees" document. This contract is legal and binding.
